20.04.08. The Fabergé Egg. Some of you may know of these fabled creations. Created for the Russian Tsars around 100 years ago, they sell for several million pounds each. And so when someone I know said 'I'm restoring a Fabergé egg, can you take some record photos of it?' I was extremely honoured!

As Fabergé eggs go it was rather a tiddler - just 15mm high - but I hate to think what it was worth. And being very shiny black, white and (real) gold, it took two hours until I was satisfied with the lighting. But we got there, and the enameller then had a perfect record of the egg to work to.

14.04.08. From time to time this website pulls in an unexpected lead. This time it was from the BBC, looking for a touchscreen plasma to help them with their Election Night Programme on 1-2 May. At first they wanted a 50" model, but ours were all booked overseas. However, we suggested a 42" screen, complete with a free PC to control it, and the deal was done. It will be shipped into deepest London and set up for the job to make sure it all works - no stress for the client at all.

So if you can stay awake through the Election Night programme, you'll see our screen in action!   They wouldn't let us stick an advert on it though, boo...
